This resource is used to promote the underpinning skills to prepare children for formal learning ready to go to school.

Children enter school with very different levels of cognitive (thinking and language) non-cognitive (motor co-ordination) and social skills. Without these skills they will struggle to master the complex skills required for reading, writing and mathematics.

This kit can be used in conjunction with the booklet Building Blocks to Literacy: Activities and Ideas to Prepare Children for Literacy  by Barbara Brann

Kit contains activities for 3 levels ages range 3.6 to 5 years.
